iMessage-style screenshots work best when they are simple. A clear contact name, believable timing, and short message bubbles are usually enough to sell the idea without overloading the frame.
The iMessage details that matter
Contact identity
A contact photo or initial makes the header feel more natural. Keep names short so the top bar stays readable on mobile.
Message length
Short bubbles look more convincing than large paragraphs. Split long text into a few messages if you want the exchange to feel casual.
Timing
Keep timestamps and status text consistent. If the reply comes one minute later, the time labels should support that story.
Make one in iyzimock
- Open the studio and pick the iMessage template.
- Set the contact name, status and avatar.
- Edit the incoming message, your reply and the time labels.
- Switch light or dark mode, then export the PNG.
Ethical use
Treat message mockups as creative assets, not proof. Do not impersonate real people or fabricate conversations that could harm someone.
